News Update March 2009 - Mexico and Michigan

Dear Friends

We need to refuse misery in difficult times. Pain is inevitable for all of us, but we have an option as to how we react to the pain. It is no fun to suffer; in fact, it can be awful. We are all going to have pain, but misery is optional. We can decide how we react to the pain that inevitably comes to us all. A proper mental attitude works wonders in the midst of pain. If you take care of yourself and do all the things that you must do to keep it in control so that it doesn’t control you, you can live a happy, productive life. Psalm 138: 7 says: Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will receive me. You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies and Your right hand will save me. Romans 8:31 – 32 says: What shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

We just returned from Mexico. All over the news in America there are negative reports about the troubling situation in Mexico with the drug war that is going on and the killing of innocents.

We had such a great trip. Mexican people are so precious and hospitable. They received us with a warm embrace. We did a series of meetings where we trained leaders and pastors. We also conducted miracle services and so many people were healed. A lady who had a cancerous tumor in the uterus went home after prayer. She went to the bathroom and the tumor came out, pieces of meat, looking like liver came out! Praise God, He’s Jehovah Rapha, the healer. The deaf heard, the lame walked and the blind saw. There was a testimony that touched our hearts, there was a little boy that couldn’t walk and he prayed and asked God to heal him during the meeting and He was healed, He could walk and was weeping and hugging me after he gave his testimony. Many were saved and many were encouraged.

After Mexico we went to Bay City, Michigan for meetings. I, Guy, spoke to the men and Ilke spoke to the ladies and we also had 2 other services on Sunday morning and Sunday night. People testified about miracles that took place during our last visit there.

We are excited to be home the last week of March before we start our 2 months international tour.

Keep us in your prayers.

Your financial support is welcome and appreciated.

Continue to reach forward in Him.

Many blessings,

Dr. Guy & Ilke Peh
