Seasoning Your Life

Most of us use salt, pepper and other spices to season our foods but, have we ever thought we can season our life?  Seasoning is designed to bring out the flavor and add variety to food. Seasoning our life can and will bring out the best and add vitality and excitement to everyday.

First, let's make a bold move to get rid of all the dull, shabby negative thoughts. These thoughts have never added to our life, they've only subtracted. Let's replace them with fresh, healthy upbeat and outgoing thoughts. For the next week try adding a generous tablespoon of life, forgiveness and kindness to everyone. Go out of your way to find good things to say to others. Sprinkle thoughts and words of appreciation.

Season each day by saying when you wake up that this is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Throughout the day stop and see the beauty of God's creation. Live with a sense of hope and optimism. Live each day with excitement and adventure.As we season our days and our lives with these ingredients our life will take on a flavor like we have never known.
